Draw a process

How to draw a process in Looper canvas?

A process represents your product journey, from the types of materials and energy sources used, to the activities performed and the final product. It is a digital representation of your manufacturing process.

Creating a process in Looper is simple. There are four types of cards:

  1. Element cards: Raw materials, specific components, energy sources, etc.

  2. Activity cards: Customized cards where you name the activity process. They indicate the types of elements used as input and the types of product and waste generated as output.

  3. Product cards: Customized cards representing your "final" product, whether it's your main, by, or co-product.

  4. Waste cards: Food waste, construction waste, etc.

Here is an example: imagine you are a restaurant cooking garlic seaweed.

On the left, we have two element cards: seaweed, garlic powder, and salt. In the middle, there is a mixing activity to blend the seaweed, garlic, and salt. The final product is garlic seaweed. There may be some food waste left, so we add a food waste card.

And that is how you create a process in Looper! 🥳
